Te whiwhinga mahi | The OpportunityWe are looking for a Medical Photographer/Videographer to join our Radiology team.
Our MedPhoto and Graphics department is a highly motivated and team-spirited unit of Radiology, and currently employs 9 full-time staff who provide Medical Photography, Graphics and Videography services to all departments of ADHB, as well as other regional DHBs and businesses.
A Bachelor of Arts with a major in Photography or Film/Videography is desirable and a qualification in Medical Photography or extensive experience in the photographic field, although training will be considered for a suitable applicant with medical / ophthalmic experience, who fits with our highly motivated team.
You will primarily be focussed in busy ophthalmic / retinal photography clinics; however clinical photography and Videography, on wards and in surgery, is also a fundamental part of the role.
Ophthalmic procedures include but are not limited to: Fundus Fluorescein Angiogram (FFA), Indocyanine Green (ICG), Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), Slit Lamp procedures and Fundus Retinal Photography. Diabetic Retinal Screening duties (including Fundus Retinal Photography and grading to primary level) and Public Relations Photography\Videography also feature largely in this role.

- Self-motivated who has excellent communication skills
- Ability to be sensitive to patients' needs
- Enthusiastic and flexible team player
- Current working knowledge of software applications Adobe CC Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom and InDesign.
- Good technical knowledge of cameras, studios and lighting; and excellent photography skills. Video skills a bonus.
